The agreement with the Government will allow to desist to invoke the "AntiTerrorism Law" for the use of ordinary justice, understanding that actions taken by the Mapuche are not acts of terrorism. Likewise is the Government's commitment to carry out legal reforms to prevent double jeopardy military and common justice.

From the Declaration on the Conflict State Psicólogxs - Mapuche began a rapid process of accession and expressions of solidarity with the cause, both colleagues of our country and other countries. At the same time we were able to hold two manifestations, the first one in the "Constitution Square", in front to the "Palacio de la Moneda" (headquarters of Executive Power) and the second in Valparaiso in front to National Congress.

All these experiences have given us many lessons and insights that I think are relevant when we think of Psychology in Chile, in the contingency commitment to issues of national interest, in adherence to civic causes, our ability to convene and organize as a psychologist, the role is having and could have the College of Psychologists of Chile, the link with students and / or specifically with Chilean Students Organization Psychology, among other possible topics.

Personally I would emphasize the support of Professor Manuel Poblete Badal, a pioneer of psychology in Chile.

Pd. This October 1 we receive reply to the letter to the President of the Republic with the Declaration on the Conflict State Psicólogxs - Mapuche. The letter indicate "in order to properly process your submission, I like to inform you that we have submitted the facts of the case to the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Interior and CONADI for information and purpose that it deems appropriate."
